THE LONG ROOM
With beautiful views over the valley to the south and French doors opening onto the sunlit quadrangle Courtyard, this room is perfect for small workshops, intimate celebrations or formal meetings. It can accommodate up to 30 guests in a horse shoe arrangement or cabaret style depending on your requirements.
Projector, screen, flip chart, whiteboard, sound system and microphone all available to hire, which together with the complementary high speed wi-fi, enables you to deliver your presentation, workshop or meeting with ease.
The Long Room can be hired from 1 to 5 days.
LONG ROOM KITCHEN
Next door is the Long Room kitchen. Well equipped, it's a great place for making and eating meals as a team. Making a gourmet meal part of your event without paying gourmet prices. It provides a hub for making coffee or drinking tea and we have sat as many as 14 round the island unit. Catering can also be provided and we know some amazing chefs who can cook for all dietary needs. There are 2 large wash rooms leading off the kitchen with shower and bath facilities.
MEETING ROOM
Taking the West door and stepping in to the Dolphin Courtyard we have a break out room for up to 12 - perfect for a more intimate discussion or to segregate activities.
MIDDLE ROOM
Adjoining the Meeting Room is a smaller room with a kiln and Belfast sink for anyone considering a painting or pottery course. The Middle Room is a multi-purpose room, which is good for serving from and has tea and coffee making facilities. Here you will find water proof wellies and umbrellas for walks. Also a small library of reference books on nature.

WHAT TO ENJOY
At Upper Vobster Farm you can enjoy wonderful walks, places to sit and time to be. From the buildings the land slopes down to a stream in the valley below. There are two large ponds, one with a beach with logs and rocks to sit on and the other one is near an old stone bridge that leads you on to the old drovers way. You’ll find a flock of North Ronaldsay rare breed sheep, pygmy goats, various ducks which live in their own castle, many varieties of hens and other wildlife.
